ISIS-2006 was a fantastic opportunity to have had and I cannot think of better executive development program for Canadian police leaders. The research and inter-agency cooperation showed to all what can happen when we listen to each other and share our collective experiences to arrive at an end product.
I have fond memories of the experiences that our team had in England and Wales, from interviews at the House of Commons, the Home Office, attending a major sporting event in Wales and a security tour of the Channel Tunnel to mention but a few.
Since ISIS-2006 I have utilized many of the contacts and friendships both in Canada and abroad that we made during the project.
Once signed up for ISIS one would be prudent to ensure that they can attend all of the Canadian sessions both before and after the international component. I also had my family meet me in England at the conclusion of our international research and had a fantastic two weeks with my wife and daughter.
ISIS is a rewarding and unforgettable experience that I would recommend to any Canadian police leader.
